Atlantic Unbound | The Atlantic Monthly -- The online version of the respected journal, whose "Poetry Pages" section includes a regular selection of new poems, criticism, reviews, and poetry news; an extensive archive; and many audio recordings of poets performing their work.
BeeHive -- "Hypertext Hypermedia Literary Journal." Includes interactive, hypertext poetry, literary essays and criticism.
Boston Review -- "Since 1975, an award-winning forum for political, cultural and literary ideas." Excellent web version of the respected literary journal.

Kaspahraster -- Lively and stylish zine with "Radical Poetry" section, as well as lots of theory.
Light & Dust Anthology of Poetry -- "An ongoing, pluralistic anthology of contemporary poetry. Includes complete out of print books, sub-sites for authors, genres, issues, and interchanges with poets in other countries." Karl Young has put together an excellent look at work you will have a very difficult time finding anywhere else. Most of it is great work that is slightly pre-web. If you take a good look, you can see a bit of the pre-history of cyberspace here. A lot of visual poetry and many thoughtful poetics essays.
Living Poets -- An electronic journal of spare and beautiful new poetry, full of delicate observation.
Mississippi Review -- A classic American lit zine.
Mudlark -- Each issue of Mudlark is an "electronic chapbook" by one poet, but it also publishes shorter selections in between issues.
Ploughshares -- Abreviated web edition of the respected literary journal.
Poetry Cafe -- "A gold mine of contemporary poetry. One of the most complete, technologically-advanced poetry sites on the net."
Poetry Daily -- Features a new poem every day. Also interviews, features, reviews, selections from publications, and an archive of the daily poems.
Poetry Magazine -- The internet incarnation of Harriet Monroe''s respected journal, founded in 1912. Website features one poet from the printed edition each week, and provides info on the current issue, subscriptions, and programs of the Modern Poetry Association.
Poetry and Prose of the Harlem Renaissance -- Poetry and Prose by Gwendolyn B. Bennett, Countee Cullen, Alice Dunbar-Nelson, Jessie Redmon Fauset, Angelina W. Grimke, Zora Neale Hurston, James Weldon Johnson, Nella Larsen, Claude McKay, and Anne Spencer.

Voices from the Gaps: Women of Color -- Educational site that focuses on the lives and works of women writers of color in North America. Biographical, critical and bibliographical information about the author as well as pictures, quotes, and links.
Web Del Sol -- Cornucopia of poems and images and discussion, including editor''s choice and bulletin board, video and audio recordings.
Wise Women''s Web -- A magazine of women''s literature and visual art. Includes submission guidelines.
