The central conflict is not always the conflict between the Rebels and the Empire, but instead concentrates more on individual characters, such as smugglers and heros, with the Empire-Rebel issue as an overall story arc. Star Wars: Legacies -- Star Wars: Legacies is set 25 years post-Endor and focuses heavily on the political interaction that takes place among the elite of the Galaxy''s Core, both in the New Republic, among the crime syndicates, and in the latest incarnation of the Empire - The Imperial Commonwealth. A high median age among the staff and players fosters a rich environment that encourages long-running stories and character development.
