Online Version of SCREEN3 Model -- This site is maintained by Pacific Environmental Services who developed an online version of the U.S. EPA''s SCREEN3 air dispersion model, which is freely available for use by any visitor to the site.
Pacific Environmental Services (PES) -- Nationwide company headquartered in Herndon, Virginia. The PES modeling section specializes in developing, evaluating, and applying air pollution dispersion models. PES was involved in developing the U.S. EPA''s dispersion models, such as ISC3, SCREEN3, and SCREEN. PES has also been involved in developing the new AERMIC Model (AERMOD), to be proposed by EPA as a regulatory model.

They use various models to simulate gas and dust dispersion and deposition from: industrial chimneys, stockpiles, fugitive sources, accidental releases, cooling tower plumes, and acid rain. RTP Environmental Associates -- Dispersion modeling studies performed by RTP have involved rural and urban environments, simple single-point sources, complex multi-source industrial and urban applications, simple flat terrain, complex topography, and various time and spatial scales from short-term analyses to multi-year average statistical assessments over distances of several meters to several hundred kilometers.
Risk & Industrial Safety Consultants (RISC) -- Risk & Industrial Safety Consultants, Inc. is a small, company (recently acquired by Trinity Consultants) originally established for conducting research and development, and providing safety consulting and risk assessment services to the petroleum, chemical and natural gas industries, and other consulting organizations. Their services include: permit applications; siting and feasibility studies; environmental impact assessments; and technical support tasks such as air dispersion and noise modeling, planning, and monitoring.
The AUSPLUME Model -- Describes the AUSPLUME model developed in about 1986 by the Environmental Protection Authority of Victoria, Australia. The AUSPLUME model is an adaptation of the U.S. EPA''s ISCST model (Industrial Source Complex Short Term model). Copies of the model can be purchased from the Victorian Environmental Protection Authority.

The AirQUIS Model -- The Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU) has developed an Air Quality Information System (AirQUIS) having: an emission inventory data base; dispersion models; and a geographical information system (GIS) module. The dispersion models include a source oriented model (EPISODE), a puff-trajectory model, and models for traffic in street canyons and on roads (ROADAIR and CONTILENK).
The CHARM Model -- The Complex Hazardous Air Release Model (CHARM), developed by Radian International, is for emergency response or planning involving hazardous chemical releases into the atmosphere. It predicts the movement and concentration of release plumes and provides various graphical outputs such as: concentration footprints; heat radiation footprints of a pool fire; and overpressure contours from vapor cloud or container explosions.
The Indic-Airviro System -- The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) developed a modularized air dispersion modeling system. The system has: a module for receiving input data from monitoring stations; an emission data base module; and a dispersion modeling module. The dispersion module has a Gaussian model for small-scale applications, a grid model for large-scale regional applications, a street canyon model for emission sources surrounded by buildings, and a dense gas module for heavier-than-air gases.
The MIDAS Models -- Dispersion models, offered by PLG Inc. (located in Bethesda, Maryland), for routine and accidental airborne releases of hazardous materials. Versions available for: industrial releases of hazardous chemicals; nuclear facility radioactive releases; and response to chemical or biological releases by terrorists. Built-in dense gas and evaporation plume models. Real-time displays of the dispersing plume on site-specific maps.
The OML Model -- A Gaussian plume model developed by Denmark''s National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) that is recommended for environmental impact assessments of any planned new industrial sources. The model can be used at distances up to 20 km for high or low sources, one or more point sources, or area sources. It is not suitable for complex terrain and it requires input data on emissions and meteorology on an hourly basis.
The Pilot Group -- Consultants based in Dallas, Texas who offer dispersion modeling services for: air toxic evaluations and risk assessments; demonstrating compliance with air quality standards; evaluation of accidental releases; stack height studies; new facility site selection; visibility studies, etc.
