OALS: DRU: Constructed Ecosystems Research Facility -- Pima County and the University of Arizona. Constructed Ecosystems Research Facility.
SWAMP - constructed wetland -- We are the Environmental Committee of the Friends of Fort George. A non-profit co-operating agency of Parks Canada involved in research into the cold climate use of Constructed Wetlands ( CW''s ) for wastewater treatment - specifically municipal wastewater.
Solar Aquatics Systemsİ Technology -- Solar Aquatics duplicates, under controlled conditions, the natural purifying processes of fresh water streams, meadows, and wetlands. Using greenhouses to enhance the growth of bacteria, algae, plants and aquatic animals, wastewater flows through a series of clear-sided tanks, engineered streams, and constructed marshes where contaminants are metabolized or bound up. The technology has been applied to treatment of sewage, septage, boat waste, and ice cream processing waste.
Water Recycling -- Ecological wastewater recycling system in Chatham County, North Carolina, at the former Triangle School, now headquarters of EMJ America and Neon Impressions. Wastewater is cleaned for reclamation and reuse using constructed wetlands, and a greenhouse containing soil filters and an aquatic ecosystem. This is the first on-site treatment facility of its kind in North Carolina.
