GAP - Groups, Algorithms and Programming -- GAP is a free system for computational discrete algebra.
Group Pub Forum Home Page -- These are the community pages for Group Theory, the mathematics of symmetry. Group Theory is a branch of algebra, but has strong connections with almost all parts of mathematics.
Home Page J. S. Milne -- Mathematics site of J.S. Milne; course notes, preprints, and other manuscripts. Includes lecture notes in group theory.
MAGNUS: A graphically-oriented system for computational group theory. -- Magnus allows one to explore and experiment with abstract groups without the need for learning yet another programming language. Magnus is covered by the GPL, and freely available to all. Magnus uses Tcl/Tk as its GUI, and was developed using the Free Software Foundation development tools. In addition, The Group Theory Cooperative at CCNY, the developers of Magnus, mantain several other services for the Group Theory Community.
Numbers of Small Groups -- The good people at GAP, in particular Hans-Ulrich Besche and Bettina Eick have produced an explicit GAP catalogue of all the groups of order up to 1000 (with the exception of the orders 512 and 768). This table simply gives the number of groups contained in their catalogue, so you can quickly figure out how difficult your task is likely to be.
Open Problems in Group Theory -- This is a part of the Magnus project. Contains many problems in group theory, both well known and relatively new. Great for graduate students.
People in Geometric Group Theory -- a list of scholars in the field of Geometric Group Theory.
Topological Methods in Group Theory -- Table of contents only; draft chapters can be downloaded by arrangement.
